Welcome to the weekend, friends!
Happy Father’s Day // I’m a day early, I know, but Happy Father’s Day to my dad and to all of the dad’s out there! I’ve been my dad’s right hand (wo)man for most of my life and was always helping him out with some project around the house. I’m thoroughly convinced that there’s nothing my Dad can’t do or fix.
Life Moments // This past Thursday I shadowed in the Child Life department at a big children’s hospital here in Charlotte and oh my word, it was amazing. I’ll be sharing more about the experience in this space next week, but was just a total God thing and reassuring that He has indeed led to this path that I’m currently on.
Blog Things // This week, I actually managed to post more than once or twice! On Monday, I shared Where She Lived Last after reading a beautiful blog entry from Rory Feek. Thursday, I shared TaKenya’s story as part of the Joy in the Mess guest post series I have going on. And yesterday, I shared For Mother Emanuel with you all for the one year anniversary of the tragedy that occurred in Mother Emanuel Church in Charleston, SC.
Around the Interwebs // The lovely Emily over at Ember Grey wrote a beautiful post this week about hope and it truly stayed with me throughout the week. I encourage you to go read it.
I also stumbled on this Mozzarella Chicken recipe and this is totally getting made soon. Delicious!
