I’ve always considered myself to be a Christian. I’ve gone to church regularly for the vast majority of my life and the church life was something that I grew up kind of used to. I don’t think I’m alone in saying that my teenage and young adult years brought a little “biblical rebellion.”
But lately, something interesting has been happening to me.
I have been feeling the pull, the call, however you want to describe it, to really work on my faith.
Ladies, if you haven’t checked out the app/website She Reads Truth yet, please go check it out. It’s a beautifully designed interface with the full bible at your fingertips and a wide variety of reading plans and devotionals. For someone like me who is wading back into the faith-filled waters, this resource is truly awesome.
I’ve just started the “Open Your Bible” 14-day series and I’ve just been filled with a tremendous sense of peace that has been hard to come by lately.
Putting it gently, this school year has been challenging and full of stress and anxiety. I know that God has entrusted these children to me for a purpose, but I’ve been praying for some clarity, patience, and an open-heart until that purpose is ready to make itself known. 🙂
Thanks to Eat Drink & Be Mary for the great list of bible verses on stress and anxiety that I stumbled on this evening!
